With the 85-30 SMART, WITT presents the world’s first smart flashback arrestor and sets new standards in fuel gas safety. The patented valve combines proven mechanical safety functions with integrated sensors and electronics. This not only stops safety-critical incidents such as flashbacks and backfires, but also, for the first time, detects them in real time and sends out an signal.

Thus, a previously passive safety component becomes an active sensor within the gas supply system. Plant operators gain new transparency regarding the status of their processes and can react more quickly, plan maintenance measures in a targeted manner and reduce downtime. The technological basis is the WITT 85-30 flashback arrestor, tried and tested thousands of times over, certified to DIN EN ISO 5175-1 (IBExU) and ideally suited for digitally networked industrial applications in line with modern smart safety concepts.
